Meet Serena

Serena Purdy is a visionary health systems scholar at the University of Toronto and a deeply rooted community organizer in Kensington Market. She has worked directly with experts including Dr. Gregory Marchildon who wrote the Romanow Report, the roadmap to sustaining and improving Canada’s public healthcare system. As chair of Friends of Kensington Market, her work fighting Airbnb helped establish Toronto’s Short-term rental by-laws.
