What I Stand For
Ending the Housing Crisis
The solution must be equal to the scale of the problem. We need to build not just more housing, but affordable and deeply affordable homes that meet the needs of those most affected. At the same time, we must address the root causes of the crisis by ending the financialization of housing and confronting the growing influence of private equity and large holding firms that treat homes as investment assets rather than places to live. Finally, we need to integrate meaningful supports to ensure Canadians have the tools to secure and maintain stable housing, and to access homes that truly meet their needs.
Stop the Privatization of Healthcare!
We are rapidly losing access to universal healthcare, and the federal government is failing to acknowledge the critical role it must play in protecting it. To safeguard this essential system, the federal government needs to fully protect and enforce the Canada Health Act, take responsibility for harmonizing healthcare standards and access across provinces, meaningfully address the deep inequities facing Indigenous and migrant communities, and firmly defend public health against the growing threat of disinformation.
Keeping Liberals in Check
An unchecked Liberal majority would continue to enact the Conservative policies that we have seen from the Carney government so far. If we don’t stand up, their current austerity and courting Conservative floor-crossers will mean more cuts that cost us more in the long run.
Meaningful AI Legislation
The speedy evolution of AI is impacting Canadians, in particular with regards to mental health and environmental impact. As your representative I will fight or meaningful legislation for AI.
